Saks Fifth Avenue and MD Anderson team up at store's grand reopening

The April 27 grand reopening of Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston¡¯s Galleria III, featuring special guest Erdem Moralioglu, founder and creative director of London-based brand ERDEM, drew some 900 guests and raised more than $153,000 for ²Ñ¶Ù&²Ô²ú²õ±è;´¡²Ô»å±ð°ù²õ´Ç²Ô¡¯²õ .
Kicking off the VIP reception in the store¡¯s 51Fifteen restaurant were Bobby Dees, vice president and general manager of Saks Houston, and Saks Fifth Avenue President Marc Metrick, in from New York. , executive vice president and physician-in-chief at MD Anderson, thanked Saks and the fashion-forward crowd for their support and offered an update on the Moon Shots Program and its potential impact on countless lives around the world.

For years, Barry Kessler knew of Â鶹ӳ» MD?Anderson Cancer Center as ¡°a place you go when things are really bad.¡± Several years and one cancer diagnosis later, he praises MD?Anderson as ¡°the only place to go. Period.¡± A Principal at Simmons & Company International and a member of MD?Anderson¡¯s Advance Team, Barry is also a melanoma survivor and focuses his efforts outside of the office on helping MD?Anderson #endcancer, once and for all.
