The Institute for Cancer Care Innovation focuses on the principles of value-based health care delivery by implementing outcome measurement, measuring the cost of cancer care, and enabling programs that increase the value of care delivery.
The institute assists institutional providers and programs in the development and implementation of innovative, value-based cancer care programs.

MD Anderson Cancer Registry
The goal of MD Anderson¡¯s Cancer Registry is to contribute to the knowledge of patient care, research and prevention through the collection of complete, accurate and timely data, and by ongoing follow-up of our cancer patients.
Clinical Effectiveness Department
The goal of the Clinical Effectiveness department is to develop, implement, maintain, support and evaluate evidence-based patient care management tools intended to enhance the delivery of safe, effective, and consistent health care across the care continuum.

Vijaya Gottumukkala, M.D. named Institute for Cancer Care Innovation Associate Head
The Institute for Cancer Care Innovation (ICCI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Vijaya Gottumukkala, M.D., as an Associate Head of our institute effective January 1, 2019.
Dr. Gottumukkala has continuously provided insight to ICCI's value-based care initiatives and has served as co-lead to the Enhanced Recovery Program (ERP) at MD Anderson from its inception.? He helped develop the first ERP initiatives that paved the way for the 17 ERP programs to be implemented at MD Anderson to date.? His unwavering commitment to patient-centric, recovery-focused care plans positively impacts patients' ability to return to further treatment, if needed.
