Life in the Lab
The McQuade lab is goal driven as we search for relationships between various factors such as diet, stress, exercise, sex and obesity on tumor response and the effects of these factors on targeted immunotherapy efficacy. Often our experiments are conducted in collaboration with other amazing groups of scientists in order to utilize the best facilities and resources available. Lab members perform specific functions but are not limited to them as we encourage group efforts and the ongoing education and training of our members in all areas of laboratory and animal facility experiments.
We are located primarily at the South Campus Research Building 1/2 but we collaborate with groups spread out through the Texas Medical Center and have enjoyed ongoing relationships worldwide.
While we take pride in hard work, there are plenty of ways to incorporate joy and fun!
